Susan & Grant – Blue Peter Hotel

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Susan and Grant on their wedding day. We couldn’t have wished for a nicer day and from the word go everything just seemed to fall into place perfectly. Not much wind and no rain!! It was a blessed day indeed :) They held their reception at the Blue Peter Hotel. The wedding was a truly heartwarming experience for Jorina and I, and we felt truly privileged to being a part of this very special occasion. Susan was beaming from the moment we met her at the hotel and looked really beautiful in her blue chiffon dress … ready to sweep Grant off his feet when she walked down the isle :) Below are some of my favorite moments I managed to capture… thank you guys for letting us photograph you and share in the love you have for one another – I wish you many blessed and very happy years to come!

Henk turns 2!

Gert & Bennita – Mayerskraal

I had the pleasure of photographing Gert and Bennita this weekend. They got married in the NG church in Wellington and held their reception at Mayerskraal just outside town. We took some of the couples photos at Monte video guesthouse, where Benita got dressed. The flowers were in full bloom and a beautiful purple that fitted inn with the wedding colors Benita had chosen for their wedding. They are such a fun loving couple and it definitely shows in their photographs! Thank you; you two for a great shoot and being willing to walk amongst the long grass and wild flowers! Jorina and I loved photographing you! I wish you many happy years to come and that each one remains as special as your wedding day :)

 

Trevor & Elmori

I had the opportunity to join Suzette as a second shooter to Trevor and Elmori’s wedding.The ceremony and reception were held at Haute Cabriere in Franschoek, a beautiful cellar restaurant setting built inside the mountain. Ian en Melanie – Opstal Landgoed

It was an absolute pleasure photographing Ian and Melanie on the beautiful Opstal Landgoed wine Estate. Melanie looked stunning in her little chiffon dress and ruffled jacket! I invited Suzette from Memento to join me as my second shooter for the day and help me photograph this special occasion. These shots are just some of my favorites of the couple shoot. :)

 

Mario & Janine – Olivello

We had the honour of photographing Mario & Janine on their wedding day. The reception was held at Olivello Restaurant ( on Marianne Farm). We couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful setting, nicer people or a better day… It was wonderful to be embraced and share in the joy of the two families uniting. Nicky & Herman – Sunset Beach

I had the honour of photographing Nicky and Herman for an engagement shoot a while ago and a couple of weeks ago finally their wedding day had arrived. A lot of love and attention to detail was put into the day and made it a very special event.
